Hi all. My name is Mary. My son, Alex, is now 22 years old. (That is so very hard to believe!) Alex is doing fairly well over all, thank God.
My husband, Bill, and I joined Sharktank many years ago. I think that it was 1999. As a result of our association with Sharktank, we eventually also joined the Crataegus group. The Crataegus group was an offshoot of Sharktank.
These groups have given us so very much. My son still uses crataegus (hawthorn). It does help his digestion.
But, just now, I’d like to tell you about Sharktank. Sharktank is a group comprised of very bright, dedicated and wonderful people. Over the years, I have been in awe about what they have accomplished. For example, Sharktank members researched the use of Zithromax for CF, and sent it to docs who eventually worked on it, and ultimately prescribed it for their patients. Now, as you may know, Zithromax is part of the CF protocol. In addition, Sharktank began the research about the possible use of Glutathione. As you may know, Glutathione is being tested for possible use as a CF therapy.
Again, as you may know, Sharktank is working on a therapy that may help control CF. (If you don’t know about this, please do look at the information on Sharktank’s website.) And, again, I am in awe of the people who have spent so much time working on this. I do believe that it may be a potential therapy for CF.
Sharktank is comprised of many people, from different areas in the world and from many walks of life. I do hope that you might consider joining this wonderful group which is dedicated to stopping CF.
On a personal note, I have a PhD in art history and higher education administration. At this point, I sure do wish that my degrees were in science! But, I’m learning about the work of Sharktank. And, I do hope that you do as well to stop this insidious disease.
